TV Energy works closely with a range of private sector organisations from large corporate bodies through to micro-SMEs advising on renewable energy opportunities. Sometimes this is on an individual basis, sometimes through groups (e.g. on Business parks). Solutions have addressed energy efficiency, demand management, heat and electricity use.
TVE helps clients within the business sector to develop a strategic approach to energy and helps them achieve a lower and more sustainable resource use. TVE provides expert, independent and wide-ranging assistance for all steps from strategy development through options review to project implementation. We can assist business clients to find the best commercial route to adopting sustainable energy systems and to exploit the range of incentives that have been put in place to encourage the use of renewable and energy efficient technologies.
TVE has helped a number of clients in the business sector with technical advice and has written a range of reports and feasibility studies which provide insights as to how organisations can improve their sustainability, reducing their carbon footprint* and increase their profitability as a direct consequence.
*Note that since April 2010, the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme has been mandatory to improve energy efficiency and therefore cut CO2 emissions in large public and private sector organisations. These organisations are responsible for around 10% of the UK’s CO2 emissions.
