May 2006: RDS feedback on Regional Wood Energy Report

The Rural Development Service (RDS, part of Defra) writes informing us of their reaction to the 'South East Regional Report on Wood and Energy Crops as a Source of Bioenergy', produced for the RDS by TV Energy.

March 2006: TVE wins a SEEDA Sustainable Business Award

TVE was awarded the 2006 Sustainable Business Award for Innovation by SEEDA, the regional development agency.  The award recognises the 'outstanding performance in the SE region and highlights the exceptional achievement made by TV Energy as an example for others to follow'.

October 2005: TVE boss gets royal approval

Keith Richards was awarded an OBE (Officer of the British Empire ) in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2005. The investiture took place at Buckingham Palace on 18th October. The award was made to Keith for his services to Sustainable Development made over the past 25 years, recognising his work for UK Government and latterly for the South East Region of England on renewable energy. His activities have also embraced contributions to the IEA and other international fora

July 2005: TV Bioenergy an Ashden Awards 1st Prize WinnerAshden Award 2005 - For sustainable energy

TV Bioenergy was recognised for developing innovative actions in renewable woodfuel supply and heat generation, receiving an award of £30,000 from Dr R. K. Pachauri, the chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in London .  The following day, Dr Gillian Alker , Director of TV Bioenergy Coppice Ltd and other first prize winners met with the Prince of Wales to receive their prizes and discuss their project initiatives.

March 2005: Congratulations for OWSEP project

EB Nationwide congratulates TV Energy's work on this project on converting organic waste to a sustanaible energy source. Read their letter here (PDF - 97KB).

January 2004: Regional Conference received well by GOSE

The Government Office for the South East of England (GOSE) has commended the running of the latest regional Renewable Energy Conference. GOSE was one of the joint sponsors of the Conference and the words of support came in a letter from Alison Parker (Director – Environment, Culture and Europe), who also chaired the morning proceedings on Day One of the conference.
