Local Authorities & Housing Associations

TV Energy provides independent and authoritative technical support to many different public sector organisations. These range from Government departments through regional and local agencies to individual organisations such as schools, hospitals, leisure, eco and training centers. Advice ranges from strategic, policy and planning support through to individual site options studies.

TVE has been particularly active in working with schools and colleges establishing a range of renewable energy projects embracing wind energy, solar, biomass and heat pump technology. Most public bodies are under considerable pressure both to reduce the cost of running and maintaining buildings as well as to address the environmental issues associated with energy use. TVE can help produce a holistic solution which will assist on cost cutting whilst meeting other obligations.

TV Energy provides in-depth support on a priority basis and at cost to a number of partner Local Authorities for an annual subscription. We provide services to other Local Authorities and public bodies outside of this agreement but on a case by case basis. This can include individual briefings associated with particular developments or on a generic basis.

TVE organises a variety of events for local authorities each year. Recent conferences and workshops have addressed renewable energy potential, targeting, visualisations, fuel poverty and resource access.
