Dr Keith Richards OBE: Managing
Director
Keith has more than
25 years' experience of renewable energy and energy efficiency project management and consultancy through ETSU (the Energy Technology Support Unit, Harwell). He has been central to the take-up of bioenergy projects in the UK, developing strategies for Government and then implementing them. He has championed the development of regional and sub-regional targets. Keith established TVE
in 2001, and since then has been focusing on working with community groups in close collaboration with Local Authorities and Regional Government to introduce hybrid renewables solutions. Keith remains an expert evaluator for the European Commission and Task Manager for the International Energy Agency (IEA), a role extending for more than 20 years.
He is also a member of many regional committees on sustainability, rural development, climate change and planning. Keith was awarded an OBE for services to sustainable development in the Queen's birthday honours list in 2005.

Simmonds: Chief Financial Officer
& Company Secretary
Louise
is a solicitor (non-practising), experienced in all aspects of
commercial and contractual law, who provides TVE with advice on
legislation, policy and legal matters together with general
business advice and due diligence assessments. She has wide
experience of working with public bodies both in the UK
(including Local Authorities, English Partnerships, RDAs, the
Countryside Agency (CRI), the Welsh Assembly and many government
departments) and abroad, including the European Commission and
the Thai Government. She has recently contributed to an
entrepreneur's guide to starting an Energy Services Company in
the developing world and has been involved in developing the
commercialisation process of wood heating and other biomass
technologies including the development of business plans for
local enterprises.

Gillian Alker: Energy Crop Advisor
Gillian has particular expertise and interest in woodfuel, energy crops and biomass and leads on the Coppice producer group and other biomass activities. Gillian has an international track record on matters such as land remediation using phytoremediation techniques, energy crop production, ecological modelling, water management methods and so on. After completing her PhD at Imperial, Gillian spent three years as a post-doc at the University of Florida, followed by two and a half years as an environmental consultant at WRc plc.

| Anthony Whitton:
Wood Fuel Manager Anthony works as an associate with TV Bioenergy supporting the team on biomass projects. He comes from a commercial background with 14 years' experience in specifying, purchasing and project management. He supports the team with on site project management and general business advice. Anthony is currently the TVB wood fuel manager and has previously worked in mechanical engineering for UKAEA and for many years ran a successful haulage business.

| Gabriel Berry:
Analyst
Gabriel analyses and develops renewable energy information on technologies, sites, statistics and targets for TV Energy and its clients. He has an academic and professional background in renewables advice and sustainability issues having helped develop the regional statistical monitoring system (SEE-STATS) and produced numerous renewable energy options studies. In previous roles, he produced commercial carbon and ecological footprints assessments, and co-ordinated the REA's Energy 2020 initiative. He also serves as sustainable procurement officer for the local authorities of Berkshire. In his spare time Gabriel helps run a community energy group and a network of environment groups in Reading.

Philippa Hughes: Advisor Philippa leads on our Local Authority and community projects, as well as the Bio-Sol ESCo European project. Philippa brings a track record of improving corporate environmental performance in the public and private sectors to TVE. She has previously worked for six years on environmental strategy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and as an environmental consultant in the USA, and was the environmental coordinator at a local authority in Surrey.

Alison Wilshaw: Project Engineer
Dr Alison Wilshaw has worked in the renewable energy industry since 1992. She has a wide range of renewable energy experience, but has specialised in PV, solar water heating, small wind systems and wave energy. Alison has managed a variety of projects on behalf of both national and international agencies. These projects include market surveys, training programmes, prototype design and economic analysis. At TV Energy, Alison is working on local community projects as well as on an European wood heat project which aims to transfer best practice from experienced member states to key players in less experienced countries.

| Michael
Beech: (Associate) Technical Advisor
Michael is a chartered mechanical engineer with project management and project engineering experience in the UK, Republic of Ireland and the US. He provides technical support to TV Energy, covering all relevant renewable energy technologies for the region. Current responsibilities mainly involve undertaking feasibility studies into a number of built environment redevelopment projects in the region and overseas for the private and public sector, exploring the technical and commercial options for incorporating a mix of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies to serve local demand.

Dr Julije Domac:
(Associate) International Projects
Advisor Julije is Team Coordinator and a recognised international expert with more then 12 years experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. His working experience includes being the national biomass programme coordinator and Deputy Head of Department for Renewable Energy at the Hrvoje Pozar Energy Institute in Zagreb, Croatia; international expert for Tipperary Institute in Ireland; a project leader for UNIDO; a lead expert for the World Bank; a technical editor for FAO; an expert evaluator for the European Commission, and a Task Manager for the International Energy Agency (IEA). Over the last four years, his main focus has been biomass energy, especially socio-economic modelling, work with local communities along with public education. His current position is Managing Director of the North-West Croatia Regional Energy Agency.
